Kang’s Taekwondo was established in 1998 by Grand Master H K Kang. Grand Master H K Kang is a formal Head Coach of Australian National Team (from 2004 to 2008) and has achieved Silver and Bronze medals in several World Championships in Korea, Egypt and Turkey.

  • Head Instructor Inho Kang has majored in Taekwondo at one of the highest ranking university in Korea, Kyung Hee University.
  • Inho Kang has been working as NSW Taekwondo Technical Director since 2012.
  • All of our Instructors have extensive and comprehensive experience in Taekwondo.
  • Our team consist of International Referees, World Championships Medalist, Australian Poomsae Referee Committee and Australian Representative Team Athletes.

  • Kang’s Taekwondo has developed our own unique curriculum based on scholarly study in university, expertise and extensive teaching experience.
  • We do have regular seminar and interchange session with Kyung Hee University and Taekangwon to upgrade our curriculum to the best quality in the world.

Various Opportunities in Championships

Participating and competing in State, National and World Taekwondo Championships since 1998.
  • Kang’s Taekwondo has been participating and competing in State, National and World Taekwondo Championships since 1998.
  • In 2018, we have achieved 000 of Gold medal (1st place), 000 of Silver medal (2nd place) and 000 of Bronze medal (3rd place) in NSW State Championships, age from 6 to 65 in all different divisions.
  • One of Kang’s athletes has been selected as Australian National Team Members and privileged to represent Australia at 2018 World Taekwondo Championships in Taipei as well.
  • Our team has extensive experience in training the children and leading them to build a sense of strong self-esteem and achievement.

Exceptional Experience in Demonstration

Performing Demonstration since 1998
  • Kang’s Taekwondo has been performing Demonstration since 1998 at various occasions, from FIFA Fan Festival, Korean Culture Festival, Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA), Chinese New Year Twilight Parade, State Taekwondo Championships to Local School, Community and Council’s Festivals.
  • Our Demonstration consist of Basic movements, Taekwondo dance, Board breaking, Ho-Shin-Sul, Blind-fold kicks and et cetera.
  • Kang’s Taekwondo closely collaborate with our local schools, councils and communities and perform Demonstrations for the local people. Through the process of preparing and performing Demonstration, the students learn confidence, cooperation and presence in public activities.

  • Kang’s Taekwondo has 11 different locations across Sydney and all members are eligible to attend all branches depending on your availability and convenience.
  • You can have make-up lesson in a different location if you miss your class.
  • We have a specialised class which mainly focuses on preparing State, National and World Championships and offer you customised intense training session.

Complete Safe Zone for Kids

Fully certified to work with children and hold First Aid Certificate
  • Kang’s Taekwondo is fully aware of the importance of the safety for the children. Entire Kang’s team is fully certified to work with children and hold First Aid Certificate. Our team closely monitor all students before, during and after the class to prevent any possible risks.
